Nature
Until Indiana was about 2 years old he was not a particularly affectionate cat towards humans but he now purrs with the best of them. He has his mother's features and his father's build and is a very large cat.
Indy plays surrogate father to his little brother Junior but also has a close bond with Merlin, Jar Jar Binks and Jade. He has also been teaching his naughty habits to Radar!!
Indiana is a very intelligent cat, you can actual see him working things out....
At 18 months, Indy was diagnosed with loose limbs, which means each time he jumps and lands a little awkwardly he pulls the muscles around his knees. This has meant he can no longer go out as each jump from a fence would cause him to be in pain. This hasn't, however, stopped him from playing with toys and running around with the other cats. In actual fact, since he has been kept in doors he has been a much happier cat and doesn't seem to be in any pain. The pain he was in may explain why it took him so long to become affectionate to humans.
Indiana has one party trick most owners would relish. The usual cat vs owner fight to give a cat a tablet does not apply to Indiana, he willing eats his tablets!!!!!
Most Memorable Moments
When Indiana was 3 months old he swallowed a toy, designed by the RSPCA, without our knowledge. When he threw it up a few days later it measured 4 inches in length! How he managed to swallow something so long at that age is a mystery,
Then in March 2001, Indiana was caught struggling to get through the cat flap with a huge lamb bone he had stolen from someone's dustbin!!
Even the vets are taking bets on how long it will be before they have to open him up to remove something he shouldn't have eaten.
